I am a biologist and electrical engineer studying how animals’ physical and social environment affects their behavior - in particular the information they transmit and recieve. I am in the second year of my PhD advised by Iain Couzin in the Department of Collective Behaviour at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology and the University of Konstanz. I recieved my BSE in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2016 where I wrote my thesis on the affects weighting and directedness have on the way social information spreads through graphs. I am interested in applying cutting edge machine learning techniques to solve traditional biological problems.;
